Too many characters int...My pet peeve with a book? Too many characters introduced before main characters are solidified. Then you have to keep looking back to try to figure out who someone is. Or their relationship to the main characters. I find a lot of Christian fiction writers fall into this trap. Why introduce an inconsequential character 5 chapters before they are actually in the storyline? And pretentious dialog.
